“Throw Like A Woman” is an ongoing project about the baseball organization DC FORCE from Washington, DC. When in 2014 Eva Benach’s teenage daughter Paloma wanted desperately to play on an all girl’s team but realized there weren’t any local for her join, Eva decided to build a league from the ground up. Now defending champions, DC Force has girls ages 18 and under from all over the District, Maryland and Virginia playing and competing at the highest levels available all over the country. This project is still very much in it’s infancy stage due to COVID19 but am looking forward to begin traveling again in late summer 2021 to develop it further.
